The "Preset Speed" help you using two digital signal to switch feeder speed that you could preset

INTRODUCTION

In the process of the auto-manufacturing, engineer need to switch between different speeds according to different materials. For convenience and easy adjustment, presetting the feeder speeds which will be remembered by the controller,  when the materials is changed, use two digital signal to Switch the corresponding speed that remembered.
I will show you how to use the "Preset Speed" function that switching the feeder speeds using two digital signal.

 READY

You need to prepare a vibratory feeder controller (Product Type: SDVC20S), 15 Pin Plug, two self-locked switch and some wires, As follows:

THE METHOD OF WIRING

The schematic and physical diagram of wiring to the controller are as follows:

PRESET SPEED

The "Preset speed" can switch between four speeds and the speed is decided by the combined state of two digital signals. when switch A or switch B signal is valid, The speed A or B indicator will be Correspondingly light up, as follows table 1:

Speed
The state of Speed A Indicator
and Speed B Indicator
Default Output Voltage "H"
 Speed 1
Speed A  Indicator:  Dark
Speed B  Indicator:  Dark
150
Speed 2  Speed A  Indicator:  Dark
Speed B  Indicator:  Light
160
Speed 3  Speed A  Indicator:  Light
Speed B  Indicator:  Dark
170
Speed 4  Speed A  Indicator:  Light
Speed B  Indicator:  Light
180

Note: you could find the output voltage "H" LED symbol on the panel of the controller.

The video 2 show you in details how to adjust the presetting speed, as follows:
Video 2: feeder speed adjustment
Note: The adjusting speed will be remembered by the controller automatically.

The video 3 show you in details how to switch between four speeds which have preset in the video 2, as follows :

NOTE

  1. The type of switch A and switch B can be NPN sensor, self-lock switch, Relay or other NPN signal.
  2. The type of controller including the "Preset Speed" function are SDVC20-L, SDVC22-S, SDVC21-S, SDVC34 Series, SDVC41-M.
  3. If the preset speeds over four speeds, you could use the "Remote speed" function, please click here :The "Remote speed " help you to solve the trouble that manually adjusting the feeder speed
  4. Each of our products have this "Preset Speedfunction.

The "Remote Speed " help you to solve the trouble that manually adjusting the feeder speed

  INTRODUCTION

For safety and beauty, the vibratory feeder controller as an important part of the vibratory feeding system is usually installed in the control cabinet, and sometimes you need to open the door of control cabinet frequently to adjust the output voltage of the controller. For convenience, The Remote Speed of our controller can help you to adjust the output voltage remotely.
There are three methods to achieve "Remote Speed" : Linear Potentiometer, 1~5 V analog voltage signal and 4~20 mA analog current signal.

READY

You need to prepare a vibratory feeder controller (Product Type: SDVC20S),PLC , a Linear Potentiometer, 15 Pin Plug and some wires, As follows:
Figure 1: Vibratory feeder controller (Product Type: SDVC20S)
Figure 2: PLC

Using Potentiometer To Achieve Remote Speed Control

  • The schematic and physical diagram of wiring potentiometer to the controller are as follows:

  • The video 1 will teach you in detail how to adjust the Linear Potentiometer achieving the function .
Video 1:  The method of adjusting Linear Potentiometer to control the feeder speed

Using 1~5 V Signal To Achieve Remote Speed Control

  • The schematic and physical diagram of wiring the 1~5 V signal to the controller are as follows:

Figure 8: Physical diagram o1-5 V PLC wiring
  • The video 2 will teach you in detail how to use the 1~5 V Signal to control   feeder speed remotely.
Video 2:  The method of 1-5 V Signal controlling the feeder speed

Using 4~20 mA Signal To Achieve Remote Speed Control

  • The schematic and physical diagram of wiring 4~20 mA signal to the controller are as follows:
Figure 9: Schematic diagram of 4~20 mA  PLC wiring

Figure 10: Physical diagram of 4~20 mA  PLC wiring
  • The video 3 will teach you in detail how to use the 4~20 mA Signal to control  feeder speed remotely.
Video 3:  The method of 4~20 mA Signal controlling the feeder speed

NOTE

  1. When the Remote speed is valid, the "Remote ctrl" indicator on the panel of the controller lights up.
  2. If you find the feeder speed increased with Anticlockwise rotating the potentiometer, when using the potentiometer to adjust the feeder speed, you could exchange the location of the +5 V wire and the GND wire, so that the feeder speed increase with clockwise rotating the potentiometer.
  3. When the Voltage signal above 0.5 V in using the 1-5 V Signal to control feeder speed, the Remote Speed is valid.
  4. When the Current signal above 2 mA in using the 4-20 mA Signal to control feeder speed, the Remote Speed is valid.
  5. When using the controller, if you have any questions, please contact us or Leave a message below.
  6. Each of our products have this "Remote Speed" function.
